I can only plant my vegetable garden near a black walnut tree. Something in the tree make-up prevents certain plants from growing. Which ones do better than others. Thank you
There is sun but the drip line of the tree is close to the garden.

I have a new butterfly house, but the butterflies don’t seem to care. I’m not sure where to put it (sun or shade). Also is there something you can put in it to attact them and not bees, etc?

I think they should be planted sometime in the fall, but when exactly please?

Also, how deep and far apart in the ground do I plant the bulbs? I really want this to work out as none of my gardens have ever grown! Please help, I really love tulips and I want to succeed at this so bad!
Also, how often should I water them? Are they good in direct sun?

I want to line my driveway w/bulb flowers and my question is "is too late in the season?" I bought tulips in the container w/small sprouts.

these tulips were outside in their pots and the week ahead shows temps in the 60’s and 70’s during the day and no freezing temps at night so far. I am going to plant them and the driveway gets full sun so I am hoping for the best.

I have a large garden with some spring bulb flowers, planning on some Glads, and would like to establish some flowering bushs – a portion of this garden gets full sun and about 1/3 is afternoon shade.
