Thank you so much for these videos! My mom tried to teach me to crochet when I was 12 years old, but I wasn’t really interested at the time. She passed away five years ago, and I never did learn from her. Thanks to you I’ve learned the basic stitches, and? I now have a fun and useful new hobby that reminds me of my mom. I’m looking forward to watching some of your other videos.
Thanks! I like that you explain why you? do what you do. It adds meaning.
See you again soon.
I’m glad I found your? video! I haven’t crocheted in quite a while, but a friend of mine suddenly got a passion for scarves, so I wanted to make her one. It turned out beautifully, but the hard part was stopping XD
Anywho, thanks a bunch, my fringe looks great because of you!
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to create these. I used to crochet with my grandma when I was little and stopped doing it as I got older. I finally decided to start again and these helped me so, so much. Your step by step process and slowly going over things over and over, and covering all the basis was? an amazing help!
I did have problem finding all the videos, did you make a channel or a list of them?
Hi April I have a video on that! It’s Q &? A Time: “My tails pop out.” I’ll add it to this video as a video response.
I love your videos! They are very thorough and easy to understand. My first scarf turned out wonderful! However, my tails keep popping out even? though I weaved them through very well with a yarn needle! Is this normal? Is there a way to keep them well blended and hidden? Is fabric glue a nono? I would like to avoid using it myself…Thanks again for the great tutorials!
Thank you! I’m working on my? first completed scarf and you helped me add the finishing touches. Great teaching
Thank you!! I’m no expert at all yet. I just know how to make? blankets, but I am making my baby girl a scarf and this fringe is such a pretty touch to it. It’s coming along very nicely!
omg!! your videos help? soooo much! <3
Thank you,?
your video is direct and easy to follow, not alot of watching over, and over just perfect for a beginner, watched how to add? fringe, thank you
Great video,? thanks!
@ApeyApeApe For single crochet you really do not have to do anything extra. If you want a border, you can sc around the entire piece. You should watch? the sc down the sides video.
Thank you so much I am about half way through my single crochet scarf and can’t wait to do the fringe:). I have watched many videos and it took your videos for me to understand how to do it. Thank you. Now I need to learn double crochet and? how to make a circle:). Thank you.
Thanks Bethintx1! What a great teacher you have been! Even better than my sweet grandma (bless her heart!) was. My daughters and I have picked up the crochet hooks? in the family and would like to continue on with the tradition (with your help)! :0)
Thank you? very much for taking the time to make these videos and share your talents. I was able to learn completely from these videos, with no help from anyone else. I decided to add one more set of each stitch to make my scarf a little longer, so I’ll be finished soon. I will be continuing with your Back to Basic videos for the next projects. Thank you!
Mine is coming out nice but its uneven.. i might? have skipped some stiches
My friend taught me? how to get started crocheting but by the time I got to the end of my scarf I had no idea how to finish, you video was so helpful and easy! I didn’t think doing a fringe would be that simple!
Thank you very much for all of your help!
Thanks for your help in teaching me how to crochet an? scarf!!!
I never thought I could do it but you made it very easy.
thank you, I was able to make my mom a nice scarf with the help of? all your videos
: Hi, I know what you mean because before I refreshed my memory with these videos, I had the same problem. You have to make sure you count your chains at first and really line up where your stiching until you? get a little better at it. I still think couting the chains and stitches helps keep it even.
Wow! You are such a great guide, here. I was fretting about my Harry Potter meets Doctor? Who scarf…. Thanks!
thanks for putting your vids on here…i am learning how to crochet and already have made a pot holder and practiced a circle (to make something i can use as a coaster) and now i am? making a scarf using double crochet
it is easy and will put fringe on it at the end and even make a hat to match
I want to thank you so much for all your hard teaching work. I learned the 4 basic stitches; SC, HDC, DC and TRC. My scarf came out beautiful. I just? have to do the fringes and I’m done!!! I’m looking forward to the next set of videos.
Thanks again.
You can? work a row of single crochet wrapping the yarn around a piece of cardboard after each sc.
