Can I plant bloomed tulips now since I didn't plant bulbs in the fall?

I want to have tulips, but didn’t plant them in the fall in order for them to bloom now. Can I buy bloomed tulips at my local gardening center and plant them now? Thanks!

you won’t get a new bulb growing next year unless this years is pollinated you can do this yourself if there are no bees around just rub the pollen from another tulip onto your tulips stamen.. Some forced bulbs don’t propagate but at least you’ll have a better chance. Depending on what you use you might get a different colour tulip as red is dominant and because each year it’s a new bulb it gets something from both parents. every couple of years dig up the bulb(s) seperate the small ones and you’ll get more tulips. Sometimes only leaves will come up which means they’re making extra food for the bulbs and you’ll get flowers the next year so don’t jsut pull them out.
