Garden tips??
I have a small garden and I would like any tips anyone has!! I live in MI if that helps and I am going to grow cucumbers, sunflowers, and cosmos and maybe another flower or veg.!! Ps. I have grown cucumbers, sunflowers, cosmos (all came out great), carrots (they never got big) and lettuce (dried up after a month) before!!
I do an organic garden, no pesticides sprayed on it to keep the bugs off and we usually don’t have a bug problem!!
Garden is a big area. How can i use different solar garden lights to light up my whole garden?
I live and garden in the desert Southwest. I’ve learned how to garden around killer hot summers and super alkaline soil. So, far the places I visit most are the Garden Web Arizona forum and the University of Arizona agricultural sites. What about you? Where do you learn about growing herbs and veggies?
Ok, I grew a radish in my front yard garden and the leaves are already there. Its been about 4-5 days since I planted it, so I’m really happy about that. But in the back yard garden is where I planted all the other radishes and squashes( which are sepperated.) is always dry so I have to water them every single day and that takes alot of time doing that because its a big garden. I tried the sprinkler but the garden is behind a tree so it hardly gets wet!!! Is there a way I can keep it moist without me watering it everyday?
I want to start a little garden, but heres the problem. I live in an apt. with a small pattio (ground floor)So i cant actually use their soil, I see it in my mind but know nothing of gardening, all house plants i have ever had have died very quickly and it didnt help that my cats ate them too…any sugestions for a good outdoor garden I could do in pots and would be hard for me to kill?
