THE Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival is on until tomorrow at Precinct 2, Putrajaya. Themed “Roses are Forever”, this year’s event will showcase more than 60 species of roses, exhibited at the outdoor gardens and the Floral Pavilion as well as floral arrangements from 13 countries.

Citizen gardeners join up to feed city’s hungry kids
The North Platte Telegraph North Platte residents banded together Saturday to feed the community’s youth. At a public garden on 13th Street between Custer and Carr avenues, they planted vegetables to benefit the Backpack Program.
