You can get small amounts of? straw, bagged, at the pet store and lay it on top of the dirt. I think it might work for you when your fruit starts to ripen. Fantastic garden!

Great alternative to a traditionally tilled garden. Blows away the excuse, “I can’t have a garden, because I don’t have a very big yard!” Get with it and grow your own food! Thanks for sharing…and thanks to? your sister and brother-in-law for sharing.
