If you use a clear spray like krylon you will have no runs when you mod podge. Works on printable vinyl too.
Great project! I did the same thing for Christmas gifts last year. They were for all the kids in the family, I used their favorite sport and put their names on them. They were a big hit, and a very thrifty project, I even sold a few of them!

I love this canvas and just finished making a layout for a new future Great grandson to be born in Sept. It has the tree and birds from Better Together and it turned out beautiful.
