Hibiscus Hair Mask And Shikakai/Amla Hair Mask and Wash The hibiscus leaf puree mask (and flowers if you have them) is a natural shampoo conditioner and hair growth stimulant. It works fantastically well with instant results, moisturizes dry hair, prevents dandruff and dry scalp, leaving your hair light, fluffy, and silky. Shikakai (Acacia root powder) really works as a natural cleanser, detangler, and conditioner, that will not strip your hair of its natural oils, but strengthens it and fights against dandruff. Amla (Indian gooseberry) works for hair loss problems, is a source of Vitamin C, prevents scalp infection, and stimulates hair growth. Shikakai and Amla will gently tint light-colored hair golden brown. Replace your usual shampoo treatment with this natural no-poo cleansing mixture of Shikakai and Amla. And do the hibiscus treatment weekly if you have damaged hair problems. Add neem leaves to the puree mask. How to use: 1) Loosen your hair, standing over the sink. 2) Comb, spread, or pour the mixture gently, 3) Massage the treatment into all areas of your scalp. 4) Tie your hair back, and let it sit for at least an hour. 5) Scrub and rinse off the treatment in the shower. It will wash very clean and condition your hair. 6) Rinse the excess powder and leaves off your bathroom floor. Thanks for Watching. (C) Beka’s Bakery 2011

Hello there! Thank you for this useful video. By the way, I notice lots of people keep on talking about Zunhairex Secrets (google it), but I’m not sure if it is good. Have you considered home remedy called Zunhairex Secrets? I have heard some extraordinary things about it and? my buddy completely cures his hair loss and regrow it naturally with this remedy.
can I put? it as a shampoo or treatment
I am still relatively new in this, but it’s a wonderful field to learn about, really! =) Good luck!
Oh, and in my last question, I? actually meant to ask what do you think of the product, hahaha! xD
Oh, please do! I am sure a lot? of us here would love to watch a video like that! You can try experimenting with oils like extra virgin olive oil, castor oil, amla oil, coconut oil (a staple in Indian health and beauty!), almond oil, essential oils (lavender, jasmine), sandalwood oil, etc as they have more than one extremely useful property (acne, glowing skin, moisturiser, healthy hair). Maybe you could talk about that? Or the many ways you can mix in different ratios to get the best results?
Shalom….Wow! Thanks for the great tip. I? should include a video about oil treatments. Do you have any tips on that?
I got the amla and shakakai powder from a friend, who bought it somehwere in Andhra Pradesh
Shalom! Just thought I’d share my two cents with you if you’re still proceeding with the herbal treatments: you can use 1 part shikakai to 2 parts amla if you wash your hair regularly, without pre-oiling it, as I find shikakai tends to dry? out the hair quite a bit if you don’t oil it enough. But if you’re not pre-oiling, then it’s best to just add more amla to the mix.
By the way, I have the same brand of Amla powder! How do you find it? =)
Can I use Argan oil instead of amla? I’ve used amla on its? own before and it didn’t really do it for my hair. I got this Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan oil online (beyas.ca) and it’s been working like a charm
But I want to see if I can boost the benefits by mixing it up with other things. Can I use it in this mix?
What I would suggest is you to wet your hair thoroughly over the sink, rub a thick paste of meera and yogurt in with a massage, then wrap your hair? up and let the herbs absorb in your hair. Diluted meera also makes a shampoo liquid that can be used after a herb hair mask.
Sure! That sounds great, though it may be a bit thick so you may add water. Yogurt is great for your hair, not necessarily greek yogurt which is quite a bit thicker, but which works well too. If you mix the powder with greek yogurt and its still thick, do add some water. You can leave the paste in your hair awhile to let it sit in. Egg too makes a great hair mask.?
Hi just purchased meera herbal hairwash powder with reeta, hibiscus, fenugreek, vetitver, green gram,? and shakaki to use as shampoo was going to use a greek yogurt as a base any suggestions? Thanks
Ahh… thanks!?
You can make the mix of herbs mentioned on the box yourself and compare the foam.
But I can tell you in advance that you won’t? get such a foam
There are a lot of variants depending on your hair type and what you do (or not) before washing. You can make your own mix of herbs some of them can wash? your hair as good as shampoos, actually even better because they are absolutely natural. Actually your mask should clean your hair because of Shikakai. If not you may try to add some Areetha powder. It will take time to experiment to define ideal proportions for your hair.
Wow. Probably a native Indian knows best. Okay, it says it’s a herbal preparation, but? I did have my suspicions when it is so easily foamy. They probably do have some SLS and foaming agent in there. Any other reccomendations?
I am? sorry, but Meera is NOT a natural shampoo. Ingredients list in the bottle does not include everything (pay attention to the words “key ingredients” in the bottle).
Shalom? and thank you for watching and for your kind comments
u hav a calming voice ^_^ and? great video!!
I am? using Shikakai and Amla/Amlaki powder as well as fresh hibiscus leaves. A good natural shampoo is Meera shampoo powders. Coconut/Olive Oil are very good too. Sometimes, I use rosemary or tea tree oil.

How do u keep to? plant form getting ” wet feet” in the storage containers your using for the mini green house?
Please use only non gmo seeds. Heirloom Only.? The rest have their genes change so that they produce insecticide for the bugs but they affect people too. The plants will not give 2nd generation seeding. Protest Monsanto and do not buy their GMOs GMO s will cause world wide starvation. Watch vids on this and Codex Alimentarius.
Hi I”m new to this and was wondering what I should do, I live in the city and don’t have any outdoor space for a garden, do you think this Indoor gardening would be the solution? for me?

a Big Fan of large sunny X-tra Wide south sun window seedling starter ,,I bet the square plastic gutter tube with end caps to? length of shelves would be reuseable for yrs !– Bunnies and Gardens ,a perfect combo,my bunnies help also by delightfuly devouring all the trimmings and the pellets work wonders-my water rooted sweet potatoe end sprouts are vineing well,,plenty of slips to root come may !! I might need 2 dehydrators this year !!good old Bunny poo !!
Aquaponics PLUS a food forest – we can feed the world! And I use? the term “food forest” as a quiet little protest against the copyright of the term “permaculture.” It is ridiculous to pretend a gardening technique that is thousands of years old is a patentable thing, and this knowledge deserves freely shared. But, what we call it matters very little, as long as we can call our neighbors to dinner! lol!
Hi Patti, your videos are simply amazing! Thanks for sharing this video. I just noticed that you only used fluorescent lights, does that mean that this setup is only? intended for growing seedlings? So another setup should be used for the vegetative and flowering stages?
Patti is awesome… I? am grpwing TickleMe Plants with my kids. They love watching the leaves suddenly close and even the branches droop when you Tickle It!
Just google TickleMe Plant. It is easy to grow and is one amazing animated plant!
You are AWESOME!? I loved and enjoyed this video. I want to definatley try this ….on a smaller scale of course! lol! I’m a beginner and your videos are very helpful. Keep them coming ……..please!
Hi ptti, what? are those rabbit pellets? Their food or their poop?
nooo dont? use peat moss! it takes over a hundred years to replace the peat ripped out of ecologicaly important bogs
She shops at Macy’s!! :0?
Superb video? and very helpful instruction, darlin’ girl!!
The lights she’s using are 5000k. They’re on the blue end of? the spectrum and are better for seedlings or vegetative stages.
3000k and lower go from white to red which is better for flowering or fruit.
Are the lights cool white or? are you using a cool and warm mix?
Hi Patti, great video, can’t wait to get my seedlings started. Please tell us where your Mom? got the clamshell containers, we would all like to purchase some.
Thanks
Very cool potting mixture Patti! Very similar to what? I use. Seedlings grow like mad in it. Now all you need is a peacock or two!
