Question by Lalala: How can I dress high fashion Cocktail?
Open casting calls for Seattle Fashion week are this Saturday.
They are looking for cocktail attire…I can’t fill out my cocktail dress anymore though because I have lost 2 inches on my waist and it’s loose now. I have high wasted skirts and my homecoming dress (kind of cocktail but 50′s styled) what should I wear? Fashion week is incredibly important to my career! HELP

what you can do with the cocktail dress is play it up with a belt to cover the loose fabric and take more attention away from that area and wear bright jewelery…
If you want to go with the high waist pencil skirt trying wearing a sleeveless blouse or nice tank top tucked, and maybe a bit of a flashy coat to go over it… you know the short ones with short sleeves?
Get creative and find inspirations through websites and clothing stores online… I’m sure you can find something to emulate

LIttle black dress. Find the perfect black dress, with perfect fit to your body. A black dress is always sophisticated and can be as high fashion as you make it. hey are you a model. me too i just did la fashion week and im so not doing anything else for a while im so exhausted i went to ny, paris, milano, and copenhagen. but yeah still fun.
anyway for casting calls just go for what you usually wear. you can play it safe a dress similarly to most girls and risk it and do something that makes you stand out. to la casting calls i wore a tulip skirt and a fitted tee. it looked really cute. plus tulip skirts make you look even skinnier and accentuate hips. theyre really big this season. but dont dress up too much remember. when models go in to meet with an agency to take polaroids and walk they have to look very natural so were allowed to take it up a few notches for castings
