It’s impossible to answer this question without knowing what the scarves are made of. I use acrylic yarns specifically so that my projects can be machine washed and dried. If I used wool, in most cases the same items made from wool instead of acrylic would felt up if they were machine washed and dried.
Your best bet is to take the scarves to a professional dry cleaner.

well if u didnt cut off the little annoying tags u always get on clothing (yes even scarves) then it’ll have teeny print on the tag that tells you the exact instructions on how to wash them. hope i helped!
Without knowing what type of fiber you used, it’s hard to give exact instructions. General washing directions would be a mild soap in cold water, wash by hand, limiting agitation, press excess water out of the scarves. DO NOT WRING OUT!!! Roll wet scarves in a dry towel and press water out again. Lay flat to dry. Wringing out the scarves and hanging to dry can/will cause the fabric to warp and stretch. Be careful with dry cleaning. Especially since you don’t know what fiber you’ve used. Dry cleaning could damage the knitted fabric.
Test an unnoticeable area with plain water if you are unsure whether it is washable. Some items cannot be washed and some cannot be dry cleaned. If you cannot identify the fiber, an experienced knitter, tailor or dry cleaner might.
When in doubt how to wash something that is washable, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent and minimum agitation. It is better to gently squeeze the soapy water through the fabric than to swish it around a lot. Rinse. Wrap in a clean white towel and squeeze out excess water. Lay it out on a flat surface in the dimensions you want it to be when it dries, ie make sure all four sides are straight, and then leave it to dry.
Never hang knitted fabric on a hanger. Gravity will stretch out the fabric. Instead, fold and store in a drawer or on a shelf. Be sure to change the way you fold it each time you put it away so as not to weaken the fibers in just one area (where the fold was).
