I have a new butterfly house, but the butterflies don’t seem to care. I’m not sure where to put it (sun or shade). Also is there something you can put in it to attact them and not bees, etc?

Butterflies are attracted to the nectar of flowers, not the house. Plant an abundance of flowers butterflies love and you’ll be in business. Here’s a link to a fantastic nursery that specializes in butterfly & hummingbird garden plants.
