To be a runway model, you must be taller. Sorry hun, I know your pain, I’m 5’2″ & I’ve always loved the idea of modelling. You can try magazine modelling.

The modelling industry is based upon connections. The more people you know, the better chance you will get where you want to go. Look for every opportunity. Get your portfolio together to impress any designers who may want you to wear their brand. Stay positive and once the right high fashion trend comes along, you’ll get your chance! :D

Not the traditional runway model, no. But there are plenty of modeling opportunities for petite women, too. Just start looking for local events in your city and building your portfolio with photos taken by friends or professionals. You’ll probably have more work taking pictures than walking the catwalk, but there’s nothing stopping you from strapping on a pair of heels and strutting your stuff everywhere you go.
