Is there a place you can go to take high fashion photographs? (i.e americas next top model)

Every person alive taking high fashion photographs was an “average person” too. It is just a matter of training, the right equipment, the right location, some luck, and of course.. photograhic talent too.
So is it possible… sure.

Yes, all you need is the right equipment (like a good camera) and even the slightest bit of good taste. All you have to do is take many pictures of it, or be there at the right place at the right time.
Absolutely!! We all start somewhere…I’m just the average person, but an aspiring photographer as well…just cause I wasn’t given the same opportunities or make the right choices…doesn’t mean the talent isn’t there…if the talent is there along with the education behind it…anything is possible…
Well – are you saying you want to photograph 6ft. skinny women wearing designer clothing? Or that you want your pictures to look like what you see in a magazine?
The latter can be accomplished with the right equipment – good digital camera, the right lens, lighting and knowing how to pose a model…as well as knowing how to manipulate that image in a photo editing program like Photoshop.
So – No…in my professional opinion the “average’ person with an ‘average’ camera cannot take ‘high fashion photographs’ but everyone gets lucky once in awhile.
Anyone can take high fashion photography!
