With all this rain, I’ve taken to container gardening. You can see the chard in my black stock pot is doing better than what is planted in the ground. The sage I never could get to last in the ground. Parsley bolts too quickly in the ground. The lettuce in the pots are volunteers.

i didn’t expect the tomatillo to get THAT large. it has a ton of fruit growing on it, but needs more support. i’ve resorted to hanging branches over the wires til i get more stakes.
eggplant is blooming but i don’t see fruit yet. there are 2 huge okra, and a few more flowers just showed up. the herbs are finally doing well in that spot; i may just do a big container or something next year. the herbs we use most are mexican, and those don’t seem to do well here anyway.
