Talk to someone at your local nursery. Arizona has several very different growing zones from Flagstaff to Phoenix to Tucson. Some of them can basically grow vegetables all year and some can barely grow them at all.

check with a map of the growing zones.

It also depends on what you’re going to plant and how much heat they need. Check with a local nursery or the place where you buy the seeds. Here’s more on vegetable gardens.

I completely agree with allison that first thing that depends on what you want to grow?next which suitable things they needed in that situation on that basis you can grow you vegetables but mostly on closest to spring time..

You can try hydroponic gardening. With indoor hydroponic garden, you can grow almost any plants, vegetables, and fruits all year round.

Hydroponic growing is the use of water and nutrient solution to grow plants. Without the use of soil, you can save yourself from the headache of plant disease and pest problem. Another plus point to it is that hydroponic gardening generally produces greater yields with better taste.

It is easy to set up a hydroponic garden with the help of hydroponic kits.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

It really depends on what you are going to grow as it determines the time you should plant it. I would suggest you talk to someone who is an expert in your state to find out when to start what :)
