: Why don’t you see more Asians in high fashion photography? Especially males?
They usually have very strong features, it seems odd that you don’t see more Asian models in the US. Especially high fashion editorials.

In Japan they mostly use white models for their magazine cover and everything
in Hong Kong and in South Korea, but Koreans don’t usually use white models
Because they are generally too short for modeling.
i agree with your statement. may be Asian Model especially males still shy or what. but i just want to say to the disigner please give them opportunity.
Because they don’t represent “America”. What I mean is that when people think about America it is normally white people that they think of, next comes black people and then “others”. High fashion doesn’t represent but white people. I was watching a documentary where there was a black model and the guy said that they are looking for a white girl (meaning white features) that are covered in chocolate. And there are so many stereotypes about Asians. The men are short, either computer geek or kung fu master. They are unattractive (which is untrue) and they are lacking in genital department. Because they are perceived as being unattractive, people don’t want them modeling their clothes.
