I want to cut my tulips and bring them in the house. how should i cut them and what water temp should i put in the vase and what other solutions should i put in the water ie: soda, bleach etc etc? I have heard so many tips and wives tales.

I use scissors to cut mine from the garden and put them straight into room temp water. I take my vase right into the garden with me. They last about a week!!
