Question by : What should i paint for a western themed home decor piece to hang on a living room wall?
someone asked me to paint something in a western theme for thier living room, i need something simple but pleasing to the eyes. any suggestions?
i am not a fantastic painter so i need something easy

Do a cowboy on a horse taking a break from a cattle drive. On his horse by a fire and drinking a cup of coffee.

How about a still life with an old wagon wheel leaning against a split-rail fence, and either wild flowers or some lovely potted plants around. Maybe in the distance, open pasture with horses grazing, or a desert scene background with some cactus and sage brush. There are many beautiful earth tone colors you could use for this.
Maybe you don’t have to paint anything, since you say you’re not a great painter. Why not use some vinyl wall decals? Try blik.com that’s where I got my own decals. If you still decide to paint, use stencils to make it easier on yourself.
You can paint some scenery or one really nice soothing painting that compliments the wall of your living room. Or else you can consult some interior decorator for decorating your home in order to make it soothing and attractive for you.
