I’m going to school in a fashion forward area. What should I wear on the first day?

wear whatever you want.. just be yourself.
dark wash skinny jeans, ballet flats, a flowy top and a vest, wear a scarf and carry a cute bag.

what you like to wear, but incorporate some of the hottest trends right now like skinny jeans. better yet, wear colored skinny jeans!

u cant go wrong with an Abercrombie and Fitch striped polo and jeans with rippy [but not SUPER ripped] jeans
id also try leather flip flops and wearing designer sunglasses wouldnt hurt

personally i cant stand the A&F, Hollister, and AE craze these days.
I think everyone who pops their collar or puts holes in their jeans has some self-confidence issues.
These stores rock and are super unique. I guarantee, unlike mall clothes, no one will have or have seen the stuff you’ll wear.

So If i was you i would wear an Hollister polo if your a boy or something hollister for a girl or any of the other brand with some straight jeans with design in them like cut up and etc. Now the shoes will be hard in my opinion i would wear some Air Jordan Fusions for a boy or Air Force One and girls some AF1 or what ya girls wear
if your in a fashion forward area i suggest you wear brand name thing. it might be a little more expensive though, like abercrombie and fitch, hollister, ruehl, those types of stores i guess

hey, im 15 and going into 9th grade. if your trying to impress guys or look good for them, dont. guys dont really look at that kind of thing the first couple of weeks. all you should worry about is school work, and talking with friends when your not suppost to =). all im saying is you dont have to go all out, just be your self and relax. hope you have a wonderful school year.

Elizabeth’s advice: In my town, my BFF and I are the fashion experts!You should wear white shoes, and a hat if you’re allowed. Puffy skirts are so in! You also should take care to wear ALL WHITE. And pants are bad, at the moment. Now my best friend will give her averice!

well Im just about to start at The International Academy of Design and Technology and after checking out campus and seeing the way people dress, since for the most part it is a fashion school, anything goes. There were people dressed really really casually, like they were hanging out at home, people dressed like they were walking down hollywood blvd, people in trackpants and hoodies, I mean, its really more about individuality. Me personally–I LOVE fashion and would compare my style to Lauren Conrad because thats basically how I dress everyday.
I would reccomend looking stylish, but not as if your trying to hard, you know, it depends where you are as well. Like I live in California and its really hot here so at the moment Im living in summer dresses and cute wedges and headscarves so thats probably what I would wear, but if your in a more cool environment, a pair of skinny jeans tucked into boots with a cute singlet paired with a blazer and a cute main accessory, such as an oversized scarf or newsboy style cap, an outfit like that could really work
But at the end of the day, its just about being comfortable in your style! Good luck for your first day!
